Memoriam to Angel Baldwin
Angel Baldwin
1959-2005

I was fortunate to work with Angel Baldwin at the Wyndham, now Omni, Hotel from 1994-1998. You know, when you spend 10 hours a day at work you are spending more waking time with your Co-workers than you do your own family. There was a special bond at the hotel between the sales team and Angel was a huge part of that. We laughed and cried as we shared each others ups and downs. It was an awesome time and one I will never forget.

Angel was a long time member of HSMA / AAHA.

When she was diagnosed with cancer, she didn't want anyone to know. She didn't want pity from us. She had chemo treatments during lunch and went back to work. I don't think I know anyone as strong or determined as Angel. All of you who knew her...take a moment to remember her laugh...can you hear it? It was so contagious and so Angel.

This was read at her service and I think it sums it all up...
"My life's been full, I savored much Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief Don't lengthen it with undue grief Lift up your hearts and share with me, God wanted me now, he has set me free."

You'll never be forgotten, Angel...
