Jennifer Clauser has worked in the hospitality and special events industry since 1997. Jennifer began her career at Six Flags Fiesta Texas working in the Entertainment and Marketing Departments, assisting with and managing Special Events and Theatrical Productions. After traveling for two years as a Meeting Planner for TRUE Research Foundation, Jennifer decided to plant her feet in her hometown of San Antonio and focus on her favorite aspect of events, Audio Visual. She currently loves her position as an Account Executive at Freeman AV. Jennifer enjoys creating an overall “Experience” for Event Guests. In her free time, Jennifer performs with the Improv Comedy Troop- ComedySportz, but most of all she enjoys spending time with her wonderful Husband, James, their Daughter, Addison, and their three dogs.

This experience makes Nancy extremely knowledgeable with all areas of budget requirements, planning and execution of projects. Nancy has managed numerous project teams in all industries including health care, manufacturing and hospitality. Through the years she has learned to work with the community and resources to become known as highly responsive to clients’ needs. Recently, she managed the pre-opening operational activities for the newly restored historic Pearl Stable and state-of-the-art Pearl Studio, both are multi-use facilities, as well as post opening sales, marketing, and day-to-day operations. Knox, Kentucky and San Antonio, Texas, where she held positions from Branch Manager to Customer Service Manager until mid-2000. At that time she began her hotel career at the Holiday Inn Select Airport, and 6 months later she was in downtown San Antonio and has been there ever since. She has been happily married for over 20 years, and has a 6 year old son. Outside of her career, Debbie is active with St. John’s Lutheran Church as a Day School Board Member as well as National Defense Transportation Association San Antonio Chapter, also as a Board Member. Additionally, Debbie is an avid Collegiate (Aggies!) and Pro Football (Cowboys!) fan, as well as a NASCAR nut (go Jeff & Jimmy!) and of course loves her San Antonio Spurs. Debbie enjoys traveling (cruises!) and any trip involving a beach.

Botanika has created dreamy weddings and events wither flair for the unusual with an eye for color and texture to complement any event. With a background in Interior Design and Architecture, Botanika is a leader in the weddings and event industry. With a “Best Of” selection by notable Texas Meetings and Events Magazine, as well as the national recognized “The Knot” publication, Botanika continues to service clients at their creative studio, featuring antique furnishings, home accessories, plants, and unique gifts. A speaker on the local and national level, Melissa as spoken on topics such as color trends and influences; Specializing in your market, and floral presentations. Melissa has served as Chapter President for the International Special Events Society (ISES), Junior League of San Antonio (JLSA), Board Member of the Alamo Chapter of the National Association of Catered Executives (NACE), and San Antonio Tourism Council (SATC). Patti has worked for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, The Houston Symphony and The Health Museum. She has diverse sales strategies because of selling Bull Riding, Beethoven and The Body. Has been a member of MPI of Houston and San Antonio, Houston Concierge Association, Greater Houston Conventions Visitors Bureau (Tourism Attractions Steering Committee), Co-Founder of GHATA - Greater Houston Area Ticketing Association and is a Group Sales Consultant along with many other Board Affiliations from Houston. New to San Antonio, Patti works at the Majestic Theater part time. The love for the profession of Customer Service and Ticketing is what brought Patti to San Antonio. In her free time she travels, antiques, and visits Houston often.

 Cathy Rogers began her career in the hospitality industry in 2001 as a member of the Banquets team at the HolidayInnSelectAirport. She earned a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Our Lady of the LakeUniversity in 2004 and shortly thereafter, joined the Holiday Inn Select Sales Team as the SMERFE sales manager. In 2006, she transitioned to sister property, the Holiday Inn Riverwalk. Currently, Cathy is an active member of the Riverwalk sales team handling the Corporate Preferred and Corporate Group Market.

Amy Sanchez, CMP, CPG

She has over 12 years of hospitality industry experience to include hotel sales and most recently convention sales with the San Antonio Convention & Visitors Bureau. While employed with the SACVB, Amy earned her CMP (Certified Meeting Professional). She most recently earned her CPG (Certified Professional Guide) through the Professional Tour Guide Association of San Antonio. Amy is an independent events and meeting contractor with her own business as well as for the Hotel Valencia Riverwalk. She is also a member of the Texas Hill Country Chapter of MPI (Meeting Professionals International) where she serves on the Registration Committee as the Chair as well as serving on the Education Committee for the Professional Tour Guide Association of San Antonio, and is a member of the San Antonio Founder Lions Club. She works closely with San Antonio Sports and is serving on the Hospitality Committee for the 2010 Women's Final Four. Amy is also pursuing the completion of a prior nine year Air Force enlistment through the Texas Air National Guard.

Michelle received her Bachelors of Science in Arts Management from Oklahoma City University. Michelle was a member of the prestigious American Spirit Dance Company and performed with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic Orchestra for two years. She has a diverse professional experience in stage management, sales and marketing, and has coordinated events in Oklahoma City, Tampa, Dallas, and San Antonio. In December 2009, she became the Catering Sales Manager for the historic Sheraton Gunter Hotel. Michelle currently serves as the Vice President of Programs and Education for the San Antonio Chapter of the International Special Events Society (ISES) and is an active member of the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE). In her free time, Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband, Andy, their daughter, Bella and thirteen year old Chihuahua, Godiva.

Christa Napier, Director of Sales, has been with Pat O'Brien's for 4 years. Her focus is outside sales for private events in Pat O'Brien's Briar's Suite and Grand Promenade. She is married and has one daughter majoring in Fine Arts at North Texas Unversity in Denton. Her hobbies are gardening and tap dancing. "I love the hospitality industry so much!", she says. "I have always wanted to "sell fun" for a living and now at Pat O'Brien's, I can do that!"

As VP of Sales and Marketing of MAP Austin and San Antonio, Lindsay Franklin has been guiding visitors with her 1.25 million Street Maps and Guides and is proud to publish the largest tourist publication in Central Texas. After receiving a degree in English at UT-Austin, Lindsay began her career in advertising sales in 1991 at the Austin Chronicle. She then represented Experience Austin Magazine for the Austin American-Statesman. Lindsay feels fortunate to have found a family in the hospitality community and is honored to play a party in AAHA, which has welcomed her so warmly. When she is not selling, Lindsay is busy wrangling her adorable children, Anne Olivia (6) and Anderson Percival (5), her darling husband, Oliver, and their rescued Red Heeler, Ginger Cookie Annabelle.
